The dinosaurs were crawling up into the building and Julia kept saying that she was "scared." You could see them as you drove into the parking garage and when Daddy took her out of the car and could take his arms from her but she still wouldn't fall. She was clinging onto him like a little monkey!

An old steam engine that they literally put in the building as they were building around it!

Julia and her "choo-choo trains." I have never seen a little girls as obsessed with trains as her!

Julia really got a kick out of the old fashioned phone!

"Look, Mom! I can live in Egypt...no problem!!"

Chillin' out in the pyramids!

A life size Nile crocodile...Alex seems to have gotten over his fears. Julia seems to have discovered hers!

Checkin' out the Gone with the Wind Barbie!

Julia has developed a new career interest...being a Barbie receptionist. She was diggin' the pink phone!!

A close up shot...

Doodling with Etcha Sketch...

Both Alex and Julia loved playing in the play area...We could have taken them to the park for free instead!!

More playing...

Indy Racecar

Sailboat exhibit...This was actually really cool. You could build your boat and then follow its movement with the power of air and sails.

The Carousel...This was Julia's great-grandma's favorite part about visiting the Children's Museum when Mommy was little.

Alex showing off on the Carousel!

Back to the choo-choo trains! Julia could have chilled here all day!

Alex went back to the dinosaurs while Julia watched the trains. We went first thing, but didn't get may pictures because it was a bit crowded.

Julia is back just in time to play dinosaurs!

Alex kept eating Julia's Triceratops with his T-Rex...Julia was none to happy about it!
All in all, we had a great time at the Children's Museum in Indy! We would definitely recommend it! The only bummer of our day...Alex didn't want to have his picture taken with any of the Star Wars characters! He was looking forward to seeing them for weeks, but when it came time to actually posing with them for a picture, he wouldn't do it. And he told me that he wasn't scared of anything...sure!!
