Summer Swim Lessons

Alex and his buddy, Logan, talking during class. I have a feeling Alex might get in trouble a lot this year for talking in class!

Despite his social nature, when it was time to swim, Alex was all business. I have come to realize peer pressure isn't always a bad thing. When Alex realized that some of his friends could swim better than him, he all of a sudden decided to take his swim lessons more seriously.

For the past two years, Alex has refused to do 'Diving Board Day.' This year he tackled it and won!! He didn't even pause...no whining, no look to mom, no crying...just a jump, a splash, and a "Did my teacher say I could only go once? Because, I want to do that again!"
