Tuesday
Status: Wow! They updated the ride in the Epcot Sphere…Good thing! The last time I rode it I found it to be really lame and now it is actually interesting and fun!!
Status: The Nemo ride did not fail..it was a lot of fun!
Status: We are at Epcot and my kids could spend the entire day just in just the aquarium…good thing…it is raining cats and dogs outside!!
Status: At ‘Turtle Talk with Crush’ a kid being interviewed by ‘Crush’ just said that his “mom was so big that she scared away all the fish” when they go to the beach, which caused a huge roar of laughter from the audience.
Status: Alex doesn’t seem too thrilled by the 3-D special effects at ‘Honey, I Shrunk the Kids!’ I wouldn’t say that he was scared, but I don’t think he liked it!
Status: The pouring rain has forced Alex to declare that he “wants to go home!”
Status: It has stopped raining and the sun is peeking out!!
Status: The walk around the World Showcase that is supposed to be putting Julia to sleep while Daddy and Alex are at Test Track is not working…I guess we’ll stop and meet Jasmine, Aladdin, and Donald Duck!
Status: Julia is asleep…finally!! Alex and I are off to Soarin’ and it was awesome!!
Status: We’re back at the hotel for some food and relaxation!
Status: Test Track at night with 50 degree temperatures does not feel great in an open car while speeding around at 69.7 miles per hour!
Status: Alex is a map nerd...just like me!!
Status: My children can be fascinated by the most interesting things while at Disney World…the waterwheel at the hotel, the ducks around the Epcot lake, and the Eurorail trains in
Status: A wonderful Illuminations show to close out the evening!
Wednesday
Status: It is 4 AM and Julia is up with a snotty nose…It seems as though my status on Sunday has come to fruition.
Status: ♪ It’s a Small World After All ♫ The guy standing next to me on the bus to Animal Kingdom is a graduate of the high school I used to teach at!!
Status: This is going to be a beautiful day! The sun is shining and there is no rain in the forecast!
Status: Breakfast with Donald, Mickey, Daisy, and Goofy at the Tusker House was a blast!
Status: The Safari was so much fun! We got to see so many animals and an Ostrich even delayed our progress while he decided to take a break for awhile in front of our jeep.
Status: We missed being able to see the new “Nemo” show at Animal Kingdom, but did get to see “The Lion King,” which is FANTASTIC!
Status: Back at the hotel, EVERYONE takes a nap today!!
Status: Back to Animal Kingdom for more rides and fun…Alex decides to try the DINOSAUR ride. He claims he liked it, but when he rides it again with me later, he hides his head in my shoulder the entire time!! Julia gets to meet Pluto while Alex is being scared!
Status: Chilling at the Rainforest Café for supper…Julia loves the atmosphere! We’ll have to go again sometime!
